Nationwide Building Society report further rise in UK house prices.
The Nationwide Building Society report that house prices have risen for the seventh consecutive month in November, up 0.5% on October. The average home now costs £162,764 which is 2.7% more than a year ago and at a similar level to prices in early 2006. Separate figures show that mortgage lenders are now offering a greater number of products and reducing deposit requirements.
